Troop 1140
Troop 1140 was formed in 2019 and is proud to be an all girls BSA Troop based in Conshohoken, sharing the same values and culture as our linked troop, Troop 140.
We are a Troop with girls from Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting, Lafayette Hill and Trooper PA. and follow the Scouts BSA lifelong motto of building Character and Value in today's youth.
SETTING A COURSE FOR ADVENTURE
Some kids avoid obstacles. Scouts overcome them.
Scouts BSA is a year-round program for boys and girls grades 5-12 that provides fun, adventure, learning, and challenges to help them become the best version of themselves.
Scouts BSA is designed to be experienced outdoors but also has a STEM component to encourage the natural curiosity and sense of wonder of youth members.

ADVENTURE
Scouts BSA is an introduction to the great outdoors for boys and girls ages 11-17 and, most important, a lesson about their place in it.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Scouting builds leaders.
Scouts serve on the boards of global corporations, walk the halls of the White House, and have been known to go hiking on the moon occasionally.
SERVICE
The Scout slogan is Do a Good Turn Daily. That means doing something to help others each day without expecting anything in return.
PERSONAL GROWTH
As Scouts plan activities, participate in community service projects, do their daily good turn, and progress toward goals, they experience personal growth.
